A New Chapter: From Pixels to Perspectives

To our incredible community of clients, partners, and creative collaborators,

If you’ve been following the journey of vavietnam.com over the years, you know that this space has always been dedicated to the art of the “digital build.” We spent years obsessing over user interfaces, perfecting backend architectures, and helping brands find their voice in the crowded digital landscape of Vietnam and beyond.

But as any designer knows, the core of a great website isn’t just the code—it’s the vision. And lately, my own vision has been pulling me away from the screen and behind the lens.

Today, I am writing to share a significant transition. I am officially shifting my professional focus from web design to my lifelong passion: professional photography and visual storytelling.

Why the Change?

Web design and photography are more alike than they seem. Both require an eye for composition, a deep understanding of light and shadow, and the ability to tell a story that resonates. However, I found that while a website lives in the ever-changing world of updates and refreshes, a photograph captures a moment that remains eternal.

Over the past few years, my work in photography has grown from a personal pursuit into a global endeavor. My desire to document the soul of Vietnam—its landscapes, its people, and its hidden rhythms—has become my primary calling. I realized that to give my clients the absolute best of my creative energy, I needed to lean fully into the medium that speaks to me most.

Where to Find My New Work

While vavietnam.com served us well as a digital agency hub, I have moved my professional portfolio and services to two dedicated platforms that better reflect my current path:

1. trantuanviet.com

This is my personal portfolio and the home for my commercial, editorial, and fine-art photography. If you are looking for high-end visual content, brand storytelling through imagery, or are interested in licensing my work for international publications, this is where you can see my latest projects.

2. vietnamphototours.com

For those who don’t just want to see Vietnam through my eyes but want to capture it through their own, this is my heartbeat. I’ve launched this platform to host immersive photography workshops and guided tours. Whether you are a hobbyist or a professional, I lead these journeys to the most authentic, “off-the-beaten-path” locations in our beautiful country, sharing everything I know about the craft.

What Happens to Our Web Design Legacy?

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the clients who trusted vavietnam.com with their digital presence. Many of the sites we built are still out there, powering businesses and connecting people.

While I am no longer taking on new web design commissions, I have ensured that our existing long-term partners are supported. The transition has been a natural evolution, and many of you have already reached out to ask how we can incorporate high-level custom photography into your existing platforms. The answer is: I’m still here to help you look your best—just through a different lens.

“Design is how it works. Photography is how it feels. Moving forward, I want to help you capture the feeling.”

A Heartfelt Thank You

When I started this business, my goal was to help put Vietnamese brands on the map. I believe I’ve done that through design, and now I am honored to continue doing that through photography. Seeing my images of Vietnam featured in international galleries and publications has been the pride of my career, and I owe a large part of that success to the foundational skills I built right here at this agency.

To my fellow creators: Don’t be afraid to pivot. The tools we use might change—from CSS and HTML to shutters and apertures—but the mission to create something meaningful remains the same.

Join Me on the New Journey

The pixels may have changed, but the passion is stronger than ever. Thank you for being part of the vavietnam.com story, and I can’t wait to see you in this next chapter.

With gratitude and excitement,
